Some Myths and Misconceptions About Yoga

Yoga is an ancient form of activity that used to bring people close to the spiritual world. In today’s world, the importance of yoga is understood both physically and spiritually. However, with time, people have started taking yoga as per their own whims and fancies. Due to this, a lot of myths and misconceptions about yoga have developed. These myths also stop people from taking a yoga teacher training course online and we clear these myths before starting our yoga teacher-training course online.

Let us now see some of the myths here and we will try to bust them as well:

1. Yoga is a religious conviction that will put you in war with your faith. This is not true. We know that yoga will make you chant some mantras, but they will not divert your faith from what you have for your own religion. Yoga is a just a way to improve your life, by bringing you closer to spirituality.

2. Yoga is an early morning thing. Many people feel that yoga can only be performed in the morning, but this is not true too. You can perform your yoga moves anytime. Whenever you feel stressed, you can simply position yourself and start your poses.

3. Yoga is only for women. Yes, it is true that women undertaking the yoga courses are more than the count of men, but yoga is a form exercise that is perfect for men and women equally.
